“She generates electricity from the podium in two directions: into the orchestra and into the audience.” … The Oregonian on Maestra Apo Hsu

This June, join the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra (BHSO) in concert with two great works from the masters–the monumental Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1. BHSO will be joined by two distinguished guest artistes, Maestra Apo Hsu from Taiwan and Singapore-based pianist Albert Tiu. Apo Hsu is a conducting faculty member at The Conductor’s Institute at the Bard College in New York, and guest appearances have taken her to many parts of North America as well as Russia, Asia, South America and Australia. Albert Tiu needs no introduction for many, as the Associate Professor of Piano at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music is a well-known and beloved stalwart of the local music scene. This explosive collaboration, as part of the BHSO’s 30th anniversary celebrations, is not to be missed.
